Everyone has Arrived!

            Today was a very awesome day, not only did I have a blast I also feel like I accomplished something as well. I went to an exercise class called Danz Attack with my flatmate Carol, and Maggie. It was very similar to Zumba, but I actually liked it a lot more because all the songs were oldies. They had Jailhouse, Barbaran and Grease Lightnning! Then we cooled down to a Nora Jones song! It was so much fun, unfortunately they are probably shutting down the class because there are not enough people going to it! I was devastated because I had so much fun and I broke a sweat doing it, which made me feel quite good about myself! :P Also I like to think that my nonexistent dance skills would have become somewhat existent if the class continued! All well, I will simply have to move on and see if I can find another class to motivate myself. Any way, after the class we met up with Daniella and the four of us went to dinner at a place called Marios and I got a chocolate shake and pasta. I know it seems counterproductive to get a shake after working out, but I justify it by saying I earned it! At least that helps me sleep at night. J After dinner we had that awkward moment of not knowing if we get up to pay or if they take our money from the table so we sat there for a good ten minutes before we figured out that we had to get up to pay! Sometimes I feel like such a tourist, but the good thing no one seems to hold it against us and everyone seems really helpful. Well that is pretty much it for today!

            Today was another fantastic day because everyone has officially moved into my flat and all the North Central people have as well. Meghan moved into her flat today and unfortunately it is about as far as it could be from me with out going on another street. But, I really should not complain since poor Daniella is literally on the other side of campus. I helped Meghan move all her bags up three flights of stairs and I called that my work out for the day so of course I rewarded myself with ice cream after dinner. Dinner was great because I went with Meghan, Maggie, Sam, Olivia and Meghan’s flatmate Helena (I think). They are a great group of girls and I look forward to hanging out with them in the future! After dinner we went back to Maggie and Sam’s flat and just talked for a few hours about the usual stuff: guys, school and pets. It was great and I can’t wait to do it again! Then I had a surprise when I came back to my flat: all my flatmates have moved in. Two of them are guys from Brazil named Pedro and Enrique. Then the third is a girl from Norway and I am sorry to say I forgot her name! I shall let you know when I figure it out! Any way they all seem really nice and I look forward to getting to know them better. I realized that I am the only native English speaker in my flat, which is pretty cool. Any way, it is time to put some pjs on and snuggle up with a book, so I shall fill you in later!
